New Member Care Staff: Getting Started Right
Most new Member Care staff come into their position in an organization with a lot of ideas, passion, and concern. But over the first year or more, they run into organizational realities, such as time, funds, priorities, crisis, which end up de-energizing the first blush of excitement. This course is designed to help the newcomer (in their new assignment under two years) understand and navigate the transition into the organization effectively. We will be addressing questions like the following:
- Counseling, consulting, training, mentoring -- where do I begin?
- Developing reasonable and practical privacy and confidentiality management strategies
- Current MC policy review and adjustment
- Managing organizational conflict around Member CHD issues
These and others issues will be processed as they arise out of the members of the class.
